This work fully summarizes the process by which early colonial settlers secured warranted lands from the Proprietors of Pennsylvania. Surveys #423 to 653, indexed sequentially, are fully detailed. Additionally, boundary surveys from the Codorus Township book are indexed to bring a full perspective to the township settlement.
Geographic extent: all of Manheim and Heidleberg Townships, York County, PA; boundary tracts are included with Codorus, North Codorus, Jackson, Paradise, West Manheim and Penn Townships. Manheim Township is bounded on the south by the Mason - Dixon Line with Maryland.
